Can you think of someone who is an Independent Worker and is ‘living the dream’ (it could be you!)? Please describe how this person lives and what you admire most in their personality (enthusiasm, energy, passion)? Are you close to becoming a person like that? How close are you to autonomy and freedom? Are you fulfilling your life’s ambitions? If this is someone you know, what do you admire about their values?

It is me. Financial autonomy, check; mental and physical health, check; good family roots, check; like my job and career progression, check; have a good work-life balance that allows me to do sports every single day, double check.
I’m not married nor have kids (yet), which gives me a lot of time; TIME is the most valuable asset a person can have nowadays. Sometimes I use my free time to get bored (on purpose). Not having time to get bored is detrimental to my creativity. When I’m bored, I reflect on what is it that I want to do next in my life. I do that constantly, try new thing e.g. buy a cafe-racer motorbike, do standup comedy, join a dancing club, develop a taste for scotch single malt peated whiskey, etc. I am an independent worker, mid-30s, Swiss-based, living my dream.
What a great post – thank you. We would love to see that cafe-racer motorbike. Let us know when you are in Amsterdam, Lausanne or St. Just! Robby
